History of the Shell logo
Shell began as a business selling seashells in London. The first logo in 1904 was a mussel shell; a scallop replaced it in 1909, and the red and yellow followed in 1915. Raymond Loewy drew the modern pecten in 1971.

More logos
Brand logos come from Simple Icons. They are shown for reference and identification: each logo is a trademark of its owner, and using it does not mean the owner endorses you. Before using a logo in your own work, read the brand’s guidelines; where Simple Icons lists a licence for a logo, it is shown on that logo’s page. Brand owners can ask for a change or removal through Simple Icons.
