History of the Renault logo
The diamond, or losange, first appeared in 1925, partly because it gave the horn behind the grille a place to sound through. It has been redrawn many times, including by Victor Vasarely in 1972, and in 2021 went back to two flat interlocking outlines.
More logos
Brand logos come from Simple Icons. They are shown for reference and identification: each logo is a trademark of its owner, and using it does not mean the owner endorses you. Before using a logo in your own work, read the brand’s guidelines; where Simple Icons lists a licence for a logo, it is shown on that logo’s page. Brand owners can ask for a change or removal through Simple Icons.
